Some do not know that I also own another business in sports nutrition, which I have been running since 2018—the Global Performance Nutrition Institute (GPNi®) www.thegpni.com. We are the official partners of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN)—working closely with PhD’s worldwide and researchers educating and uplifting thousands in the world of sports nutrition. I believe sports nutrition, unlike general nutrition or other disciplines, encourages one to live a different lifestyle and thrive, not just survive!
I am a Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) myself. Having had 30 years of experience in sports nutrition wearing many different hats, as well as working closely with a Ph.D. far more intelligent than me, has given us the foundation at NiHTEK® to revolutionize new innovative branded sports nutrition ingredients – namely our cornerstone branded ingredient, Hydrolyzed NiHPRO® Protein Isolate.
Working now with our core team of researchers and innovators, we don’t plan on making new branded sports nutrition ingredients but creating a change movement. Innovation and disruption at a time in the world that is much needed.
The cost of Whey Protein Isolate (WPI90) is too high globally for many companies today. Brands are losing money, and with the constant cost of living and inflation for all consumers, a much-needed new source of protein is needed.
The issue was that no protein was on par with WPI90 regarding taste, mouthfeel, protein purity, and amino acid score. This was the mandate we set to aim for by creating a protein that had all the upsides of WPI90 but didn’t have the price fluctuations, offered zero lactose, sugars, and GMOs, and was free of the world’s top 24 allergens. All the upside of WPI90 but none of the downside, and 100% dairy-free.
